Old Rochester turned a 3-0 halftime lead into a 7-0 rout by games end against Pope John Paul II high school in Hyannis Port, MA, on Cape Cod. The Reds out shot PJP II 28-2 and saw 7 different players score. Max Sherman, Nick Coelho and Colby Stabell notched first half goals. In the second half, Matt Teefy, Jon Zucco, Teddy Kassabian and Teddy Costa each scored.
The Bulldogs are 4-0-1 since their opening day 2-1 loss to Seekonk and have outscored their opponents 25-2 in that span.
During the pre season training the team set a goal of not only qualifying for the state tournament, but making a run for the title. It's a lofty goal but the players are on a mission to see how far this journey will take them.
