Bulldogs Roll Over Wareham

ORR outshot the Vikings of Wareham 26-3 scoring five first half goals before adding two more in the second stanza en route to a 7-0 rout, improving to 3-1-1.   Max Sherman continued his scoring blitz when he knocked home his first at the 6:50 mark.  Five minutes later, Sherman timed Jon Zucco's low driving corner kick to head home his second goal.    Sherman added an assist when he beat two Wareham defender down the right side and sent a near perfect cross to Matt Teefy who headed his first of two goals to the far corner.

Teefy opened the second half scoring when he rose high above the Viking defenders to flick in his second of the match.  Orr continually frustrated Wareham with their high pressure defense, while covering all the passing lanes, forcing the Vikings into multiple turnovers.

In the eleventh minute, Nick Coelho took a neat through pass from Jon Zucco and fired a low shot beating keeper Russle to the far post.  Ted Costa and Matt Beatty closed out the scoring for ORR late in the game.
The score could have been much more lopsided if not for Wareham keeper, Russle.  He made three point blank saves on Colby Stabell and ORR also misfired on more than a few "sitters" in front of Russle's net.

The Bulldogs travel to Hyannis on Thursday for a 4PM match vs Pope John Paul II.
