Oh and One

ORR lost their season opener to Seekon 2-1 yesterday afternoon.   The Bulldogs dug themselves a hole early giving up goal on a weak cross less than a minute into the match.  Max Sherman out jumped Seekonk's defense to head home a perfectly place cross from senior team mate Nate Houston to tie the game in the 28th minute.  Seekonk scored on a second half corner kick to seal the win.

Their play was spotty for most of the game and the players got themselves into a funk that they could not shake. The Reds pressured Seekonk heavily in the final ten minutes scratching and clawing for the draw, but it was too little too late.  The coaching staff assures everyone that the lack of spunk will be addressed before the next game on Monday vs a very strong Dighton -Rehobeth eleven.

Next match:   Monday, September 12  3:30 at ORR.
