Blue Devils won't quit
ROCHESTER —The Old Rochester boys soccer team led at three different times in Wednesday's South Coast Conference matchup with Fairhaven, but each time the Blue Devils had an answer, leading to the 3-3 tie.
WHAT IT MEANS: In an early season matchup, the Blue Devils and Bulldogs appear evenly matched both offensively and defensively.
OLD ROCHESTER COACH JOHN SULLIVAN: "We had full control of the match in the first half keeping Fairhaven on it's heels. Thing got really bad really fast in the second half, and we got into a funk that we couldn't overcome. Fairhaven took advantage and completely dominated the second half. We were very lucky to get out of this one with a draw and have some serious gut checking to do at training tomorrow."
Fairhaven coach Georges gomes: "They led the whole time and we kept catching up."
